Finally months overdue Homeland got its act together and killed Raggy. The team that killed the Firelord appears below:

Congratulations to the members of the team.

Tonight a group of Homelanders set foot into Dragon Soul HC for the first time. After a couple of early setbacks and some tactical changes the group persevered and confirmed its first HC kill. An honourable mention must go to Tarrelle (Boomkin ) as he was the only man standing when the boss died.

The team for this epic achievement was:

Tanks: Tyles (DK) + Aluthin (Paladin)

Healers: Deragh (Paladin), Maskedkitty (Paladin), Jahmilla (Paladin), and Tegaela (Druid)

Dps: Tinytwidd le (Warrior), Sharpwind (Rogue), Arexo (Mage), Tarrelle (Druid)

Big thanks to everyone who attened with a special mention to Sharpwind and Deragh for stomp soaking.

The loot unfortunately was not so Heroic. [Hand of Morchok] went to Deragh for his swiftly created prot off-spec and the  

[Robe of the Glowing Stone] was Disenchanted (which is lame)

We also had a few attempts on Yor'sahj which were short and painful. Dragon Soul HC hurts..... But we are up the challange.

Tonight the raiders from Homeland finally slayed Deathwing. After a couple of mishaps and dc's we connected square on the Jaw and K.O'ed the Dragon.

Astrex main tanked. Grinkle off-tanked (druid hybridization for the win). Tegaela, Jahmilla and Liomthus healed. Arexo, Sharpwind, Bakoza, Tarrelle, and Slaviak Dps'ed

The Loot went to Tegaela [Ti'tahk, the Steps of Time] and Bakoza [Rathrak, the Poisonous Mind] .

Tonight an intrepid group from Homeland set off to conquer the spine of Deathwing. After a couple of wipes and a few close calls we put together a solid attempt and down it.

Big thanks to Astrex for tanking, Jahmilla and Tegaela for healing.

And a big shout out to Sharpwind, Slaviak, Grinkle, Tinytwiddle and Rryperior for pumping out the damage required.

The Will of Unbinding dropped for Tarrrelle (happy Boomkin :] )  and the Belt of Shattered Elementium went to Slaviak for Transmog.

A special thank you goes out to Kyrus <Immortality> for lending us a hand healing and passing on useful knowledge for the next encounter.

So speaking of the next encounter. To Madness and lets slay this Dragon and get this Dungeon finished. For Homeland and For The Alliance.

Big Congratulations to the group who this evening who finally kicked Warmaster Blackhorn into next week, After many, many wipes and Grinkle nearly blowing a fuse, we rocked up and 2 shot him.

Thanks to Grinkle and Astrex for the epic tanking. Jahmilla and Tegaela for the GOD-LIKE heals.

And a big thumbs up to Azkara, Sharpwind, Slaviak, and in particular Bakoza (who stepped in in his healing gear to dps) and Tinytwiddle (Sapper Killer Extraordinaire) for executing the tactics perfectly.

Tinytwiddle got [Ataraxis, Cudgel of the Warmaster]

And Astrex won the [Crown of the Corrupted Conqueror] which he then kindly donated to Jahmilla. Jahmilla officially loves Astrex forever.
